BIOGRAPHY
Christopher Young Kim, known professionally as Young Mazino, grew up interested in acting and participating in film and theater productions during his childhood and in college. He attended the University of Maryland, but dropped out and moved to New York City in 2014 to attend the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where he trained for a year. His first appearance was in 2013 in the short film Digging written and directed by Alvin Adadevoh. He performed in live theater in New York, including playing the role of Lieutenant Saito in the Off-Broadway production of Comfort Woman in 2017. Mazino changed his name when he joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2018, because there were too many people with his legal name. . He played roles in several short films and television shows before being cast as Steven Yeun’s younger brother, Paul, in the hit Netflix series Bronca (2023).
