If there's one celebrity whose arrival on the red carpet we so eagerly anticipate to the point of near-embarrassment, it's Zendaya. The Euphoria actor and her stylist Law Roach just never miss. Case in point: her blush pink rose-adorned Valentino gown at the 2023 SAG Awards, her sheer bodysuit with short shorts at Paris Fashion Week (also Valentino), her strapless black ball gown (yep, you guessed it, by Valentino) to the Emmys last November – need we go on?
Which is why we were utterly bereft to learn that Zendaya and boyfriend Tom Holland would not attend the 2023 Oscars, which are taking place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Especially when Zendaya so often shows up to positively kill the award show circuit, regardless of whether she's nominated for an award or not. At least year's Academy Awards, the actor broke with convention and wore a silk cropped shirt with a silver sequined skirt (at this point, do we even need to tell you who the designer was?)
So, how come Zendaya so rudely deprived of what would've undoubtedly been another show-stopping Valentino red carpet look? Well, it seems as though Zendaya and Tom were enjoying some quality time together in London, as they were spotted by fans shopping with Tom Holland's mum, Nikki Holland, in Richmond Park, as well as taking a leisurely stroll past a Waterstones.
One thing is clear: these two are as in love as ever, and it's lovely to see Zendaya taking some time out of her busy schedule and enjoy life away from the limelight. Just last week, the 26-year-old star attended Paris Fashion Week and shared pics of her incredible animal print ‘fit at the Louis Vuitton Fall 2023 womenswear show. Needless to say, our gal has been booked and busy. We don’t blame her for taking some time out.
Zendaya has two major films released this year, Challengers and the Dune sequel, so we expect to see plenty more of Zendaya on future red carpets.
