For those that are wondering, Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen are indeed still together. Following their four years on "The Real Housewives of New York City," the two decided to move to New South Wales, Australia with their two children Francois and Johan, per People. The move was prompted by van Kempen's plan to become a lawyer, and in 2019, he graduated from law school. McCord shared a video on Instagram of her husband receiving his diploma and wrote, "And @simonvankempen just this moment graduated from law school!! So very, very proud!"
McCord followed suit and completely changed her career as well. Formerly a graphic designer, she received a master's degree in psychology from the University of New England. Van Kempen shared on Twitter that because of the COVID-19 pandemic, McCord couldn't have a traditional graduation ceremony. However, he added, "What I do know is that nothing will stop her from accepting her PhD in person. We are so proud!" The former "RHONY" star replied, "Could not have done it without you in my corner!!!!"
It's impressive that McCord and van Kampen accomplished so much while raising two young boys, and fans may be surprised to see what they look like now.
